The ones that missed the Ladies Refresher at Nellie Head last Saturday Night really
missed a great service and truely a blessing.
Archie Watkins formally with the singing group the Inspirations sang several songs, his
wife Cindy was the speaker for the Evening. She was a stay-at-home mom with their two
daughters. Nellie Head has this every year on the first Saturday night in March. They
always have a very interesting speaker.
We have several things coming up this month. Church Wide Visitation will be this
Saturday, March13 at 11:00 AM. Come out for this if you can. I know Bro. David would
appreciate it.
Our Nursing Home Service will be March 16 at 10:30 AM. at Standifer Place.
Do remember our Rededication Service for our Church on March 21. We will have
special singing that morning by the Rowlands. After the service we will have a meal in the
Fellowship Hall.
Our Missions Conference will start on Wednesday Night, March
24 going through Sunday, March 28 with Bro. Stinnett Ballew.
We are so thankful for our visitors. Hope they feel welcome and will come often.
Dot McAllister was sick last week with bronchitis. We missed her. Jan Disheroon also
has bronchitis. Her Mother-in-law, Elsie Disheroon has been diagnosed with breast
cancer. Really pray for this family. Chason Disheroon has the flu.
We send our Condolences to the Sims Family in the death of Jeff Sims.
